Hello and happy Monday!
Welcome to February! We are already in the second month of 2025 and I hope that you have already grown in the Lord this year! As we move into this new month we hope that you press even more into the Lord and let Him speak to you.
After the holiday season, I had a hard time focusing on what I needed to do next. I found myself in a bit of a fog of burnout and distraction. In this fog, I felt that God was often bringing this verse to mind. Even in burnout or a low season, I felt like God was inviting me back to walk by faith and not by what I see.
Walking by faith and not by sight is a lot easier said than done. There are so many distractions and noises trying to grab our attention. But we are called to close our eyes to the distractions, plug our ears to the noise, and follow God's plan for our lives.
But again, how do we do that? We are not supposed to bury our heads in the sand and hide from the world. Walking by faith and not by sight looks like knowing what God's word says, praying continually, and seeking God's plan for our lives. When we are on a mountain top high, we are to keep pressing into our Bibles, and when we are at lows, we will be equipped with God's word in our hearts and minds to keep from discouragement and falling away from the Lord's plans for our lives.
We are called to be Bold and step out in faith even when our circumstances, sight, or world tell us to go a different direction. Keep pressing into what God calls you to do! Pray that God will help you to not get distracted by the things you can see and pray that He will show you how to walk in His direction for you! His plans for your life are better than anything you can think or imagine. Walking in His will is the best thing for you!
